hello friends! we’re finishing up the first official week of Fall and i’m thrivinggg. i’m writing this to you at around 4:30pm and the fog is rolling in over my apartment — it’s just the coziest thing ever. it may have inspired me to decorate the house for Halloween a wee bit early…. oops.
i know San Francisco doesn’t have “seasons” compared to most of the world, but it is especially spectacular here during Autumn. on Sunday, i’ll be releasing a little guide with a 3 day itinerary for spending the perfect Fall weekend in SF! for now, here’s what i’m getting up to:
R — i’m almost done with Blue Sisters and it’s dark, but also interesting. how are we feeling about depressing books? i feel like i’ve read 3 really upsetting books in a row that are making me question life all together, lol. i think this is why we’re all so obsessed with romantic fantasies, right? they offer a nice break from life. Throne of Glass series is calling my name… anyway, if you’re looking for a coming of age saga about a dysfunctional family and sisterhood, this is your jam.
E — Carissa over at just launched her first brand: Harmony Blends. it’s a line of high quality spices and i’m loving them. the All Purpose and Citrus Salt are my two faves currently.
P — you know i love a good sports doc and i’m finally starting the show Wrexham. it chronicles the purchase and stewardship of Wrexham football club, by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. going into it with an open mind….
O — i’m heading to a wedding this weekend and wearing this dress. i’ve worn it to a few weddings before and it never fails. be sure to check depop or poshmark for a used version online, they’re way cheaper. because i’ll be in a colder climate, i’m wearing it with my favorite boots that look good dressed up or down.
R — i recently subscribed to Kitchen Projects by and i just love it so much. if you’re into reading about how much time and effort it takes to develop a recipe, she does it the best.
T — finally got myself a new and improved workstation aka where the magiccc happens. but, when i’m not working, it doubles as our coffee station. i love it too much; it’s a sturdy and cool piece. i have the smallest size!
