ughhh, what a place Mexico City is. it gives NYC chaos and LA smog all wrapped up in a food, shopping and art haven. but seriously, we enjoyed our time there more than i could’ve imagined. the people are brilliant and kind. the culture is colorful and vibrant. the food is flavorful and delicious…. AND i only had diherria like, twice? with this stomach, that’s a win in my book. we ate a lot and saw a lot, and i still think i’d have to go back at least 5 more times to hit everything on my non-extensive list. a lot of recommendations came from Alison Wu’s Substack (she lives in cdmx!) as well as friends who have family in the city. this in a non-exhaustive list, but spots that i really think are worth the trip. you should use this guide as a supplement to other guides!
