Cherry, Mozz & Baked Prosciutto on Toast
if your desire to be lazy is equal to your desire to impress, this is the recipe for you
the goal for me, when i’m making anything - especially a dish that i’m bringing to a summer party - is to create something that’s simple and takes barely any time or effort but that still looks soo insanely stunning. i guess this means my beige flag is that my desire to be lazy is equal to my desire to impress, which is kind of a nightmare. but this cherry, mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer is the perfect solution.
ingredients
~12 cherries, pitted (here’s the pitter i use)
1 ball fresh mozzarella
6 slices of prosciutto, baked
olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme
bread of choice, toasted
method
preheat oven to 350 degrees. meanwhile, pit your cherries and set aside. add prosciutto to an oven or toaster oven for about 3-5 minutes, until crisp. to a plate, add mozzarella, prosciutto, cherries, fresh thyme, olive oil, salt and pepper. serve with toasted bread, crackers or crostini. enjoy!
