the perfect Dry January spritz to make it feel like an italian summer in the middle of winter.
Ghia Golden Hour Spritz
ingredients:
2 oz Ghia Aperitif
1 oz turmeric-ginger honey syrup
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
2 oz sparkling water
1 sprig of thyme (for garnish)
orange peel (for garnish)
clear ice cube (filled with grapefruit wedge)
turmeric-ginger honey syrup:
combine 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup water, 1 tsp ground turmeric and 1/2-inch fresh ginger, 1/4 tsp ground cardamom in a small saucepan.



warm gently over low heat until honey dissolves, and flavors meld. strain and let cool. store in the fridge for up to a week.
method:
fill a cocktail shaker with ice. add turmeric-ginger honey syrup, lemon juice, orange juice.




shake for 10-15 seconds.
strain into a glass with a clear ice cube. top with ghia and some sparkling water. gently stir and enjoy.
