What I’m Making This Week
pumpkin spiced bircher muesli, turmeric chicken pita sandwiches, green tea blueberry lemonade
hi!! happy October! i love this month so much. that being said, it always gives me this feeling that we’re supposed to slow down. the air shifts, the light softens, and everything screams (i mean, whispers) rest. but the truth is, life doesn’t always match the season. the past few weeks have been overwhelming for me, and i know i’m not the only one walking through that.
what’s helped me is food. not in a dramatic, fix-everything way, but in the small, steady way of having something waiting for me in the fridge. when the week feels chaotic, it’s the one thing that makes everything else feel a little more manageable. call it control freak energy! but it’s also care <3
this week we’ve got a preppable breakfast packed with fiber and protein, a sober october mocktail, and a lunch or dinner idea that will spice up ur f*kn life.

this week’s recipes are built around that idea: meals and drinks that feel in season, taste comforting, and give you a little structure when the rest of life doesn’t.
What I’m Making This Week
Spiced Bircher Muesli
in honor of it being Princess Diana fashion szn, we’re making an iconic preppable breakfast that i dub as overnight oats’ chic European cousin. it’s spiced and feels so perfect for fall plus is packed with fiber, protein and everything to keep you full in the morning. GET THE RECIPE HERE!

Turmeric Chicken Pita Pocket Sandwiches
most weeks i can get away with a deli turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch but some weeks i get an insatiable craving for something that’s actually like, really fucking good and healthy and fresh and crunchy and delicious… this recipe has it all and makes it soooo easy. & ofc, preppable for the week! but also great for dinner! GET THE RECIPE HERE!

Frankenstein’s Brew

…aka green tea blueberry lemonade. i was actually kind of nervous when i made this drink. it felt like too many components and a little silly and then i made it and was like oh, wait. this is GOOD GOOD. and i think that’s probably how Frankenstein felt when he made the monster? idk, but if you’re looking for a festive drink to sip on during the week or to serve to friends at a party, this is the one. that’s all for today my sweet friends! if you make any of these recipes, please be sure to let me know! i love hearing from you. btw, i have lots of fun & exciting things to come for you all soon. a special thank you especially to paid subscribers, you keep this operation running. ilysm!
