Friday Morning Report
a little Oscars rant, my new living room rug, and what i'm up to this weekend
good morning, and welcome to another edition of my Friday Morning Report, where we discuss the important things in life: what i’m reading, eating, playing, obsessing over, recommending, and treating myself to.
i want to take a second to chat The Oscars. Adrian Brody delivering his speech like he was accepting a Nobel Peace Prize award? exhausting. Anora winning best picture? deserved. Andrew Garfield looking like he was about to wait in a 2 hour line for a night out at Bushwick’s newest roller rink? inspiring. also!!! the TChal x KyJenn era continues, which just proves that love is truly unpredictable. i stan.

alright! well! thats all i’ve got for today honestly. wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
Friday Morning Report

R | Rejection — i heard about this book through reading
’s newsletter, and let me tell you this book is wild. it’s messy and freaky and dark but has me wanting more. i haven’t finished but i’d recommend.E | Surf Market — if you go to Sea Ranch on the weekend you better try the BBQ from Surf Market. specifically, the buffalo Mac n Cheese. read about our itinerary for Sea Ranch here!
P | White Lotus — who is watching/loving? who has insane theories? right now i am most interested in the relationship between Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins. how did they end up together? why does she put up with him? why does he continue to put up with her? make it make sense!
O | Grace Rug — the biggest news of this month is that we got a new living room rug!!! and i’m freaking obsessed with it. what i love more than the rug itself is that i got it for 40% off on Rugs USA. it’s 100% wool, hardly sheds, 9x12 for $440… a highway robbery!
R | Roper Jean — recently started wearing ropers from Rudy Jude Co and i couldn’t recommend them enough. i try to keep a small, intentional closet and these were the perfect addition. i really needed a pair of nice pants to go out in that i could also wear to walk the dog around the city. very worth the price, plus we love a small biz!
T | DedCool Hand Soap — i think one of the most underrated home items is hand soap. recently got this one for the bathroom/sink area and i love it. it has a minimal yet fun design and the actual soap is great/non toxic. a cute lil treat!

What I'm Making This Week
it was my birthday this past weekend, and i spent it in Sea Ranch with my little family. everything felt blissful. the kind of effortless, slow joy that makes you think, wow, 32 is going to be my year.
I 100% need to know the full lore of aimee + walter’s relationship, something about it is so deeply intriguing
